Peter was initially approached by the directors of PDG Graphics Ltd to help in the definition of a new business model, the restructuring of the business and to help determine the infrastructure needed to achieve and support their plans.

The restructuring of the company included an innovative approach to processing work through project-led virtual teams, a formal sales strategy and a skills audit of the management personnel. Like many small businesses PDG had a very hands-on approach to sales and needed to understand the principles of running and managing a sales team to enable the growth of the business.

Working closely with the leadership team he introduced Key Account Management concepts, which formed the basis of the new sales and marketing strategies and were fundamental in gaining a significant number of new major accounts.

It was key for the business that the new market positioning and development of the business model that all employees were on board and understood what was required of them to facilitate this change in culture and approach. Peter was therefore retained to help train and mentor the new managers and to help train and motivate the staff across the whole of the company with a programme ranging from team building to communication and customer facing skills. 2005 has seen the company record their highest turnover and profit levels just 18 months after beginning the implementation of the new business model
